- Charles Hoskinson will open a new hospital titled “Horikson health and wellness clinic.”
- In recent months, Hoskinson has taken additional steps to promote the ADA token.
- Patients can have numerous facilities in the hospital
The founder of Cardano, Charles Hoskinson, has announced that he will soon open a state-of-the-art hospital named “Hoskinson Health and Wellness Clinic.” In his hospital, patients will pay for healthcare services using ADA, the ecosystem’s native currency.
The hospital is expected to be open by February 2023, according to Hoskinson, who recently provided an update on the project’s status. Cardano’s developer should have specified whether or not other notable cryptocurrencies like bitcoin (BTC) and ether (ETH) would also be accepted at his new medical facility.
One of his Twitter followers asked whether they could pay their bills at the newly launched clinic using ADH. Cardano replied, “Yes.”
The hospital’s website shows that Hoskinson Health and Wellness Hospital is located in Wyoming, USA. Many medical facilities are available to patients at his hospital. These facilities include cancer screening, cardiovascular treatment, mental health treatment, general care, proactive health screenings, diet medicine, and women’s health care.
The medical institution also focuses on nutritional supplements, diets, medical treatment, exercise, and life extension for patients.
Next month, the clinic will be entirely operational and partially open. According to his LinkedIn page, the hospital has about ten employees right now, and he is open to hiring new people for his hospital.
Hoskinson has made more efforts to increase the token’s acceptance in recent years. The launch of Wyoming’s Nessie’s Restaurant and Whisky Lounge, which accepts ADA as a form of payment, was announced by the blockchain developer in June.
Customers, however, weren’t happy with the move to accept ADA as a payment option. Some individuals stated that Hoskinson might have chosen alternate payment methods built on Cardano, such as DJED, Cardano’s first decentralized stablecoin.
